Former CIA Director Michael Hayden to Deliver Keynote Address at NetWitness(R) User Conference

HERNDON, Va. — NetWitness Corporation, announced today that retired United States Air Force four-star General Michael Hayden, former Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), will keynote the first day of the Inaugural NetWitness User Conference. The November 4th keynote address will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C.
General Hayden held the longest ever tenure as Director of the NSA serving under both the Clinton and Bush administrations (1999-2005). In May of 2006, General Hayden was appointed as the 20th Director of the CIA by then president George W. Bush.
In July of 2008, General Hayden retired from the Air Force after 41 years of military service. He continued to serve as Director of the CIA until February of 2009 when he was succeeded by Leon Panetta. Currently, General Hayden is a principal at the Chertoff Group, a security consultancy co-founded by former Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Chertoff.
